Though photographs remain unique in how they document life's milestones their signficance at the time of capture is not always understood. However, the longevity of images always help to tell history at a later date. Old photographs of parents and grandparents are an example. Such images are frequently viewed with a sense of intrigue, possibly because they help better understand ourselves.
